About

The Job Seekers Union was founded in 2009, in response to spiralling levels of unemployment in Ireland and around the world, as a result of the economic downturn.

We are a voluntary run, not-for-profit organisation with a specific aim of helping people who are looking for work. We aim to provide a network for job seekers and the unemployed, coming together to find solutions to the problem of joblessness, helping each other through the recession and beyond.

Our focus is on supporting individuals looking for work. We exist to promote discussion that serves the aim of stimulating new strategies towards job creation and ensuring the economic well-being of all.
